Medical Camp for Nuns organized by the Student Parliament of Visakha Vidyalaya 2018

The Health and Nutrition Ministry of the Student Parliament of Visakha Vidyalaya organized a Medical Camp on the 12th of August 2018 at Mahamewna Anagarika Asapuwa, Dambadeniya as a mean of curing sicknesses of the Nuns at Mahamewnawa.
The Health and Nutrition Ministry of the Student Parliament of Visakha Vidyalaya organized a Medical Camp on the 12th of August 2018 at Mahamewna Anagarika Asapuwa, Dambadeniya as a mean of curing sicknesses of the Nuns at Mahamewnawa.
Doctors who were past Visakhians, the mobile dental service,sponsors, members of the Parliament, other medical units , pharmacies and security units joined hands as one, to support the students, teachers and parents of Visakha Vidyalaya in making this meritorious event a success.
The medical camp which commenced around 9am went on till evening providing medical facilities to the Nuns by checking diabetes , blood pressure, eyes and other health issues. Medicine was also provided as remedy for the existing health complications of the Nuns. All the Nuns at the Asapuwa participated the camp to get their illnesses examined by the facilities provided by Visakha Vidyalaya and were highly grateful for the young minds behind the project who put in their sweat and blood to make this event a reality.
The hard work and immense dedication offered by the The Minister of Health and Nutrition Ministry Vishmi Manage, Deputy Minister Navodika Ranaweera,the members of the ministry and the members of the parliament was evidently seen throughout the medical camp, and it is fair to say that their hard work was paid off by the event turning out to be a great success.
