With the perspective of obtaining an expert knowledge in agriculture, a field visit to the Gannoruwa Agriculture Complex was organized by the Agriculture and Irrigation Ministry of the Student Parilament Of Visakha Vidyalaya on the 28th of November 2018.
With the perspective of obtaining an expert knowledge in agriculture, a field visit to the Gannoruwa Agriculture Complex was organized by the Agriculture and Irrigation Ministry of the Student Parilament Of Visakha Vidyalaya on the 28th of November 2018.
The field trip focused on enlightening the students on the latest recommendations of crop cultivation and technologies generated by both public and private institutes. The visit to Gannoruwa Agriculture Complex which commenced around 9.00 am went on till the evening. The project comprised a variety of activities that helped to increase the knowledge of the members of the Student Parilament of Visakha Vidyalaya.
The eventful excavation was made possible by the undying support rendered by the Agriculture Instructors, Sponsors, Members of the Parilament, Teachers and Parents.
Gannoruwa Agriculture Complex is of lavish aesthetic beautiful, as the surrounding presents a breathtaking floral and fauna landscaping with tropical crops. Amidst the search for education, the Visakhians were able to take a break from the urban outlook of the central city, and retire into nature's serenity. The students certainly enjoyed the educational expedition and did not regret letting nature be their teacher for a day.
