A fabulous music extravaganza by the undying sensation of youth 'Bathiya and Santhush' together with Umaria and Sanuka was organized by the Old Girl's Association of Visakha Vidyalaya on the 17th of February 2019. The Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall was booming with life that evening, as the crowd cheered and applauded for the artists on stage along with the band D Major.

The main sponsors for the event were Bank of Ceylon, Dialog 4G, Crescent, Lux and Minduli Motors. The official media partners were Sun FM and Wijeya Newspapers.
The event was a fantastic success, since Bathiya and Santhush were celebrating their 20th anniversary as stars, and the show mainly focused on their newly released album “Oba nisa†The evening brought together many amazing experiences for the lively audience which exceeded 1630 people, and the duo was surely reminded of how much Sri Lanka loves them regardless of age groups.
The event was organized to raise funds for the betterment of the school and its students. But most of all, we think that the Old girls of VV raised the bars for school musical events and gave a kick start for a challenging year that will hopefully be filled with many more heart racing shows.
