The Interact Club of St. Bridget's Convent presented and evening of creations and celebration at the St. Joseph's College Sports Complex by organizing the 'Festival of Arts' on the 28th of May 2017 with the aim of providing a voice to art in all its shapes and forms.
The Interact Club of St. Bridget's Convent presented and evening of creations and celebration at the St. Joseph's College Sports Complex by organizing the 'Festival of Arts' on the 28th of May 2017 with the aim of providing a voice to art in all its shapes and forms.
The event displayed an arena for young artists to showcase their unrevealed talents at their highest paragon. Eight adroit contestants Ashanya Premadasa, Akna Maharaja, Arom Medis, Dilushka De Mel, Shanell Denipitiya, Sukithi Chamali, Thirani Karunathilake and Plague staged eight powerful performances. Heat of the competition was real and the enthusiasm to be crowded Victor got better and better. The performances set the stage on fire, bringing to life the sole aim of the festival. Every single contestant was able to captivate the crowd by their melodies and adept skills, making the audience give out strenuous effort to come up with the final contestant whom they are to cast their valuable vote. Festival of Arts featured special performances by the best loved in town Hidaayath and the Magician's Toolbox which cooled down the heated competition atmosphere at the St.Joseph's College Sports Complex.
The evening was splendidly organized by the St.Bridget's Convent Interactors, giving the audience a blissful celebration of creation.
