Xtream Youth

Eve of Acapella is the first of its kind providing a platform for youth from across the Island to join together and unite in the universal language, which is music. The fact that separates this event from any other musical event is due to the fact that Eve of Acapella takes things one step further, by promoting a little known yet amazing field of music which is Acapella singing.

However eve of Acapella is not only unique for its special field of music, It is also an opportunity for students with this unique talent to showcase their skills and to be recognized as a vocalist. And the lack of musical instruments provides an interesting challenge for the participants, who have to resort to harmonizing in order to compensate.

Initiated in the year 2010, Eve of Acapella is of such an events to bring together choirs from a number of leading schools and present an evening of music to the general populace. Eve of Acapella, organized by the United Students' Circle of Royal College was held on the 21st of February, 2015 from 6pm onwards at Royal College,Navarangahala, Colombo.
