OSCARS : Prom/Dance/Awards Night 2016 organized by the SGA of Overseas School of Colombo was held on Saturday 26th of March from 6.00pm onwards at Winchester Hall, The Kingsbury, Colombo.
An annual dance and awards night: “OSCARS 2016” organized by the Student Government Association of Overseas School in Colombo took place on the 26th of March from 6.00 pm onwards at The Kingsbury, Colombo.
From dates to dresses to chaperones (teachers were invited as well), this event mirrors what we know as a high school prom. In addition to the more familiar “OSCARS King/ Queen” titles, the OSC students have created more innovative and even comical titles, such as “Most Likely to End Up in Jail in a Foreign Country”. Teachers are in on the fun as well; one such award for teachers being interestingly titled “Most Likely to Kill a Student”.
All elements of the evening were organized by the Student Government Association months beforehand and their efforts were successfully realized as students and teachers alike truly had a night to remember.
