Geethma '19 - an exclusive musical experience, rendered by the talented young individuals of Nalanda College, was staged at the Nalanda College Malalasekera Theatre on the 3rd of August 2019.
Geethma '19 - an exclusive musical experience, rendered by the talented young individuals of Nalanda College, was staged at the Nalanda College Malalasekera Theatre on the 3rd of August 2019.
Over 350 students performed in various events including 60 students in the Orchestra, which was featured throughout the concert by providing music. The Orchestra was trained by the veteran Saxophonist and musician, also the Master in charge, Mr. Jayantha Dissanayake, while the other teachers of the aesthetic units joined in training the other students. The lecturer of the faculty of Music, University of Visual and Performing Arts, and also a reputed classical singer Mr. Asith Athapaththu arrived as the Guest of honour.
The spectators experienced a variety of music, which represented a number of musical disciplines throughout the world. The concert concluded successfully by the collective effort of the Principal, Academic staff, Students as well as Parents.
