AUDAX IV 2018 organized by Maliyadeva College Astronomical Society was held 8th of June 2018 with the participation of Dr. Ayesh Dissanayake, from University of Peradeniya as the Chief Guest. The theme for this year was Prof. Stephen Hawking and his works towards the development of field of Astronomy.
AUDAX IV 2018 organized by Maliyadeva College Astronomical Society was held 8th of June 2018 with the participation of Dr. Ayesh Dissanayake, from University of Peradeniya as the Chief Guest. The theme for this year was Prof. Stephen Hawking and his works towards the development of field of Astronomy.
The night was full of Astronomical Events, Quizes, Workshops, Fun items organized by Past Astro Members and Present young astronomers of the society. 23 schools participated at the event. The APK Thilakarathne Space Challenge Trophy, which is conducted parallel to AUDAX was won by Ananda College Colombo, defeating Richond College Galle and Dharmaraja College Kandy to Second and Third places.
The Astro photography competition introduced for the first time for AUDAX was won by Kingswood College Kandy.
