A spectacular musical carnival was set up by the United Nation Clubs of Ladies’ College and Royal College on the 3rd of August 2017 with ‘Backstreat2017 ’opening up an arena of amusement from 6.30pm onwardsat the Ladies’ College Grounds.
A spectacular musical carnival was set up by the United Nation Clubs of Ladies’ College and Royal College on the 3rd of August 2017 with ‘Backstreat2017 ’opening up an arena of amusement from 6.30pm onwardsat the Ladies’ College Grounds.
The evening tranquillized the spectators with a wide range of sensational music from hip hop to beat boxing. The live musical line up crowded talented young local performers such as Ama, Oshana and Shania, Thishakya, Devin, Shania Klyn, and Marisha along with Julius & Prince, DKM, and the JJ Twins who spiced up the cold air with rap, hip hop dancing and beat-boxing.
The most wanted Dj duo ‘Lunatics’ pumped up the heat shaking the skies and grounds of Ladies College Grounds with their electrifying and staggering remix beats.
The evening gave the crowd a large delightful cuisine of mix varieties to please their taste buds by offering stalls of Harpos, Pizza Hut, The Commons, KFC and many more. ‘Backstreat 2017’ presented stunning games of Horror House, Rifle shooting, Dart games and Quad bike area which arose the adrenaline of the participants. ‘Backstreat 2017’ sponsored by Gold Sponsor ANC alongside Partners TNL Radio, The Sunday Times, Xtream Youth was organized in aid to broadenthecognitive contours of the children atBopagodaSugeeshwaraVidyalaya in Matara by rebuilding the school’s library complex.
A night of music and entertainment beautified with fetching street arts concluded rejoicing the attendees by giving a promising beginning to a happy August and paving the way for a great noble cause.
