Friends and former classmates gathered at Hotel Thilanka on the 4th of June for the 2009 Batch Reunion of Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy. It was an evening of color and glamor as the attendees caught up with one another on the years gone by.

They were surrounded by many attractions; one being a photo booth complete with whimsical props. They also participated in a number of crowd pleasing party games, such as balloon dancing, musical chairs, paper dress competition and even crowned a “Dancing Queen” for the evening. All winners were awarded exciting prizes.

And what’s a party without cake? Guests enjoyed cupcakes and confectionaries decorated with the iconic Disney character, Minnie Mouse. This sweet treat was followed by an exquisite dinner, after which they continued to dance through the night. However, the icing on the cupcake truly was the parcel of chocolates everybody happily accepted on their way out.

It was indeed a night to remember.
