An electrifying atmosphere of luminosity captivated the Friday night at Gateway College on the 30th of June 2017 with the commencement of 'Resonate' organized by the Interact Clubs of Gateway College and Wesley College with Cool Planet as it's Main Sponsor.
An electrifying atmosphere of luminosity captivated the Friday night at Gateway College on the 30th of June 2017 with the commencement of 'Resonate' organized by the Interact Clubs of Gateway College and Wesley College with Cool Planet as it's Main Sponsor.
The concert which was organized to aid people of rural areas gain access to clean water, started off with some classic hits sung by the melodious vocals of upcoming artists Arom Medis and Ama Jayasinghe. The young boy band Mainstream along side featuring Thishakya Gamage auditioned a list of soul soothing melodies for the crowd to sway and dance to. Yingyang Brothers took centre stage & wowed the spectators by exhibiting their iconic dance moves.
The exhilarating EDM themed musical night was filled with the resonance of islandwide DJs. Trev D boosted the adrenaline within the nerves, which kept the party going till the latter of resonate marked by the glorious spinoffs of Astronauts on Bicycles. Can there ever be an EDM eve without the Lunatics taking over? Certainly, NOT. The Dj duo performed their electrifying gigs unlocking the party animals in us all.
Resonate presented a scheme of numerous quality culinary stalls for the excited crowd to dig in while enjoying the best of music. The food stalls varied from mouthwatering noodles to our very own Lankan favourite Kothu dishes sided by chilled drinks and coffee. The jewellery stores by Angel.lk at Resonate presented elegant goodies such as chockers and charms scoring to be girls' favourite for the eve. Luminous face painting and the funfilled Photobooth indeed became the coolest as well as the most crowdly packed stalls, making sure the paint artists and photographers were never left at ease.
All in all, Resonate concluded to be a night enraptured by fun and the bliss of the finest music.
