A preeminent musical atmosphere was generated at the Bandaranayake
Memorial International Conference Hall with the commencement of
'Transcendence 2017' on the 11th of March 2017 with the presences of a
galaxy of musical veterans, who never failed to cuff right into our
feelings with their magical melodies. The musical was organized by the
Interact Club of Ananda College partnering with the Rotaract Club of
Colombo East.

Interact Club of Ananda College partnering with the Rotaract Club of
Colombo East.
Ananda College being a well-known institute for its high virtues and values, presented Transcendence 2017 as an aid to their major Community Service Project 'Epitome of Rejoice'.
As the Hall packed up with lively youth across Colombo the show kicked off on Saturday eve to the limericks of the island-wide favourites Bathiya Jayakody, Chitral Somapala and Sanuka Wickramasinghe. The angelic vocals of Umariya Sinhawamsa brought divine existence to the prestigious BMICH, exhilarating the audience.
Dushyanth Weeraman and Devshan Perera featuring the Kurumba band electrified the onlookers with their live performances. The city of Colombo 7 was vibrating to the top tempo as Naadro began to beat their astounding drums. The all-time loved band Daddy sang their ever green melodies tingling the toes of the spectators’ to dance.
The groundbreaking phenomena 'Transcendence 2017' concluded bringing elegance, brilliance and excellence onto one stage giving the paramount entertainment to the incredibly supportive crowd.
