The cuisine Comp 2015, the first ever cooking competition organized by the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya was held on Thursday, 12th of March 2015 at Hotel Clarion Kiribathgoda.

The honoured Chief Guest for the evening was the District Rotaract Representative Rtr. Sathiyendra T.Singam. Dr. Narada Fernando; the Director of the career Guidance Unit of University of Kelaniya, Mr.Anderson the General Manager of Hotel clarion Kiribathgoda also graced the occasion of Cuisine Comp as the Guests of honour. Dr. Bandara Wanninaike the Department Head of Marketing Department also shared the evening as a special guest. The foodies who participated in the combat with their culinary skills were: Rotaract club of University of Kelaniya, Rotaract club of Wellawatte, Rotaract Club of Colombo midtown, AIESEC university of Kelaniya, Faculty of Information Technology University of Moratuwa, Leo club University of Kelaniya, Swiss Lanka Hotel School, and Department of Marketing University of Kelaniya. The evening was spiced up not only by the international gastronomical extravaganza but there was a melon eating competition targeted for the audience and also a glamorous after party with a DJ.
