Going by the words, ‘No one Fights Alone’, the charity run has been able to become a true helping hand to the cancer patients in Sri Lanka that keeps increasing day by day. Hundreds of youth, children and adults participated this year too, to assist the prime charitable cause as well as to interact with people and organizations who tend to support similar notions. Countless number of companies, celebrities and organizations sponsored the Run For Their Lives 2018 in order to facilitate the organizing of the charity run.
All proceeds were donated to the National Cancer Institute in Maharagama which treats over thousands of patients every year completely free of charge within the hospital and its associated centers throughout the country.
