After a series of successful workshops around Sri Lanka, the final and most awaited workshop- the Main Workshop of Sri Lanka Model United Nations 2018 was held on August 5th, 2018 at Ladies' College, Colombo 07.
After a series of successful workshops around Sri Lanka, the final and most awaited workshop- the Main Workshop of Sri Lanka Model United Nations 2018 was held on August 5th, 2018 at Ladies' College, Colombo 07.
During the workshop, delegates were briefed on committee topics and were given the chance to air out their queries to their respective committee head tables. Minor committee session simulations were also held for the benefit of novice delegates.
The International Press Corps workshop was also held parallel to the Main Workshop and the speaker was Ms. Devuni Goonewardena, an acclaimed journalist, who spoke about investigative journalism.
The Main Workshop is one of the most awaited events in the SLMUN calendar as it is the first time the public would meet and get to know the Executive Committee.
