The Main Workshop of SLMUN 2017 was held on the 05th of August 2017 at St. Peter's College, Colombo 04. Delegates from across the island participated in the workshop amidst other distinguished invitees from the diplomatic arena. The Administrative Staff and the International Press Corps workshop was also held following the Main Workshop.

Keeping up to the theme 'Engaging the Next Generation', Sri Lanka Model United Nations 2017 embarked on a herculean mission to educate the youth of Sri Lanka on diplomacy and spread the concept of Model United Nations far across the island.
After many successful workshops around the island, Sri Lanka Model United Nations embarked on their final and biggest workshop- a culmination of months of hardwork from the Executive Committee of SLMUN 2017.
