Over 270 students were conferred with qualifications from Swinburne University of Technology. The State Minister of Finance Hon. Eran Wickramaratne graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while the Special Guests were Deputy Australian High Commissioner Tim Huggins and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Swinburne University of Technology David Coltman. Graduates following the Business, Science and Engineering Foundation courses, as well as Business, IT and Engineering Diploma graduates proudly accepted their qualifications at Waters Edge on the 26th of October 2017.

This was followed by the Graduation Ball which was held with Bollywood splendor. Organized by the student council, the 'Bollywood Night' was the 3rd event the council organized.
Students, alumni, management, staff and well wishes celebrated past success and danced to the prospects of what is yet to come.
The event was the perfect culmination to the months of arduous studying that led to the graduation.
