Viru Daru is a youth -led, youth run movement established with the aim of creating an optimal environment for recognizing, developing, and nurturing the strengths and talents of children belonging to Army Families and Specially children of fallen War Heroes.
The Viru Daru also organizes sports activities and conduct varied social projects thereby involving themselves in the community around them. They provide assistance to children, so that they can easily cope with the challenges and difficulties surrounding a severely injured parent. They also increase awareness in communities around the nation about the experiences undergone by children of fallen war heroes and all wounded warriors.
" Camouflage " is a fashion show organized by Viru Daru in partnership with the Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology (LIFT) in aid of children of Fallen War Heroes. The specialty would be that the designers at LIFT would be developing drawings and ideas of our very own members and they will be portrayed on the ramp by our members too. Tickets are Priced at Rs.1500.00
