The Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) new premises opening ceremony was held at it's new premises located at 504, Galle Road, Colombo 06 on 6th of October 2016 from 9.00AM onwards.
The Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) new premises opening ceremony was held at it's new premises located at 504, Galle Road, Colombo 06 on 6th of October 2016 from 9.00AM onwards.
The opening ceremony was followed by religious and traditional observances. The ceremony was graced by Informatics Group Chairman-Dr. Gamini Wickramasinghe, Informatics Group Deputy Chairman -Hasith Wickramasinghe and CEO of IIT -Dr. Sampath Kannangara During the past several months IIT has witnessed a surge in students that want to obtain higher educational qualification from a globally renowned university. In order to accommodate the growing number of students, IIT has extended the campus to this new location.
