The 93 Batch is a group of professionals who are corporate members of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and holding key positions in leading private sector firms, government organizations and many other recognized institutions. 26 batchmates were present with their families, with one traveling from overseas to attend the occasion. It was a few hours of nostalgia and entertainment.
A few energetic and dedicated batch mates undertook the task to put the 'MI 93 2K18' together with a vision to have a higher purpose of awarding a student scholarship to a needy student on academic merit nominated by their alma-mater the University of Moratuwa. With foundation being laid for the higher purpose, it is hoped that this scholarship be granted annually in the years to come.
This event would not have been possible without the sponsorship by numerous members of the trade and generous contributions from well wishers including batch mates who are residing overseas.
