Official launch of the AAA Movement AAA (Action Against Apathy) is a youth led, youth centered voluntary organization/platform, aimed at protecting, promoting and ensuring human rights, democracy, good governance, the rule of law and social justice, by enabling and empowering young people around the world to take meaningful and proactive action, through active participation of young people themselves. In that context, we as AAA, aim to meaningfully engage young people around the world, to make a positive difference in the above said five focus areas. As concerned youth, we believe that, it is not the misdeeds of the bad people that has made this world a bad place, but the silence of the good people. So, to change this system, we have understood that apathy is the biggest problem enveloping society. In the same tone, if we break the circle of apathy and take action, in other words, if we say 'no to apathy” and “yes to action”, we believe in the strongest possible terms that the world can be transformed in to a better place, on the basis of respect for each other and nondiscrimination on any grounds. The outrageous but still achievable ambition of our organization: by the year 2024, to be an UN ECOSOC NGO that would have a considerable influence within the UN system.

The Official launch of the AAA movement was held in connection with the World Peace Day that falls on the 21st of September 2014 from 3.30 pm onward at the Girl Guides' Head Quarters with the participation of representatives from renowned organizations such as United Nations, Girl Guides' Association, and Institute of Policy Studies etc.
