Denmark’s biggest Pop Export Michael Learns to Rock proudly presented by Lite 87 and the Official Promotion Sponsor Premier Booking Agency, DCI Recruitment Ltd, enchanted a night of nostalgia to the lives of thousands of Sri Lankan Fans with their magical tunes on the 18th of May 2017 at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Cultural Centre (SLECC), Colombo.

The show was spot on! The crowd was massive and the noise was nevertheless. Not only "Michael', we all learnt to rock indeed. The auditorium was filled with die-hard fans of more than two generations, proving the MLTR successful existence for nearly three decades and their immense impact on the music industry.
The night concert was charmed with nearly twenty songs including their record breaking hits of "Sleeping Child" "Actor" “You Took My Heart Away”, “That’s Why" "25 Minutes" etc. The sense of humour and the romantic vocals of Jascha, the astonishing energy of Wanscher and Mikkel’s vitality kept the overwhelmed fans off their seats from the start to the very end, giving the fans all they could ever wish for.
The show’s vivacity was intensify by the dedication put out by the triplet legends, which clearly sent out the message to all fan hearts of how much value and affection they presented to the Sri Lankan fans.
As the band set off waving farewell, the loud cries of the thrilled crowd brought them back to paint the crowd’s lives by one last song, the soul-stirring ballad “Paint My Love”. The crowd which sang along to every single hit of that night, did not dare to stop as they witness the sensationally remarkable Michael Learns to Rock take their final bow on Sri Lanka, till next time. Michael Learns to Rock has finally arrived on to the blue shores of the Paradise Island, to performance to the housefull Lanakan crowd this Thursday Night! The Official Press Conference of the concert was held on 16th of May 2017 at the five-star Mövenpick Hotel, Colombo from 4 p.m. onwards with the exclusive presences of Jascha Richter and Mikkel Lentz.
The occasion was co-chaired by Lite87 and its other main sponsors such as Classic Travels, Commercial Bank, Wijaya Newspapers, Dynamic AV , Elephant House,Richardson Outdoor, PickMe, Mövenpick Hotel the Hospitality Patner and many more. MLTR switched the press conference atmosphere into a friendly chitchat sessions. They recaped their first visit to Sri Lanka back in the years, pointing out the many aspects in them that have changed, but how the fans depict the same unchanged love & devotion. MLTR created much humor in the room, leaving the spectators in laughing giggles through out the whole session of Q&A.
The duo also opened up about the complication and challenges they face by being a part of a worldly renowned band.They stated that eventhough they are a close family within the band, they do run into disagreements now and then like everyone else. It is a noteworthy fact that their long running success & unity is due to the immense cooperation and proper understanding prevailing within the band. Even-though continuous touring is quite laborious & jet lagging, meeting their die-hard fans & singing the best hits to them, is said to invigorate their boost & motivation to keep performing.
Jascha Richter and Mikkel Lentz certainly did speak out great news for the MLTR lovers, by confirming that there are a number of new songs written and that they will be heading straight to the studio after tour, to work them up. So keep watch, for the new arrivals of Michael Learns to Rock.
