The 11th presidential installation of the Colombo Gavel Club was successfully held on the 4th of Aug, 2018 with Chief Guest, Former CEO of Chevron Lubricants Mr. Kishu Gomes and Guest of Honor, President, Toastmasters International Mr. Balraj Arunasalam at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute with over 150 guests representing almost 16+ Gavel clubs across the island.
The 11th Presidential Installation of the Colombo Gavel Club was successfully held on the 4th of Aug, 2018 with Chief Guest, Former CEO of Chevron Lubricants Mr. Kishu Gomes and Guest of Honor, President, Toastmasters International Mr. Balraj Arunasalam at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute with over 150 guests representing almost 16+ Gavel clubs across the island.
This year's executive committee was installed by Former Director of Metropolitan Inc. Mr. Niranjan De Silva and the committee will be head by the new president, Devin Amalean, VP education - Tuhan Sapumanage, VP Membership- Amaya Gunatilleka, VP PR- Timala.W, Secretary- Agbo Pethiyagoda, Treasurer- Minuga Jayasundara and the sergeant at arms as Lakindu Siriwardena. These 7 officers will Speak to lead as they 'walk their talk' this year.
It was one of the most colorful events of the year done to motivate future leaders to and encourage the current EXCO to achieve more and to steer the club in a remarkable way.
