EYE CARE - Convocation & Award Ceremony 2018, 11th anniversary of Eye Care Institute was scheduled on 28th of January 2018 at Bandaranayke Memorial International Conference Hall Colombo, Sri Lanka.
EYE CARE - Convocation & Award Ceremony 2018, 11th anniversary of Eye Care Institute was scheduled on 28th of January 2018 at Bandaranayke Memorial International Conference Hall Colombo, Sri Lanka.
On the event Dr. Nalin Rajakaruna - consultant eye surgeon, president of college of Ophthalmologist Sri lanka was the chief guest. Guest of Honor Dr. Amila De alwis, Special Guests Dr. Ayasmantha Peiris also other eye surgeons Dr. Chandra kumara, Dr. Wasantha Gamage, ophthalmologists Dr. Asela Abeydeera, Dr. Nalin Goonasinghe were present.
Mean time Mrs. Theja Malknthi Director NAITA, Optom. Shirani De Silva Past principle School of Ophthalmic Technologist, Senior Orthoptist J U Seekubadu, Optom. Nayana Juvandara from national Eye Hospital Colombo, Optom Anura Rajakaruna, chairman Sri Lanka Optometric Association, Optom. Chanaka Wijesundarabandara, past chairman SLOA, Optom. Vidhya Jayarathna, Principal, Vision Care Academy, Optom. Naresh Pradhan,programme Director Eye Care Institute, Optom. Dhammika Deshapriya, Chairman, Eye Care Institute, Optom. Prasad Gomis, registrar ECOA, Opto. Chanaka Jayasinghe, chairman, NVQ Certified Ophthalmic Optician Association, Opto. Dilip Secretary, Optical Owner association also other eye care professionals, family members of graduated students, journalists.
Event awarded graduates who has completed optometric course from Eye Care Institute. Also event awarded Optom. N Arul Kumar The Best Optometrist award, Mahanama Optical Embilipitiya The Best Practice Award under Optom.Dasantaha Fonseka Award.
Optom. M Suranga De Silva is awarded Fellowship for ECOA for his contribution in the field of eye care.
Annual event of J U Seekubadu Oration to salute the Great Optometric hero J U Seekubadu was done.
Event was coloured with entertaintment event of singing, dancing, drama presentation and sunglass fashion show by Eye Care Students.
Programme was hosted by Optom. S H Ranjith Premarathna and Optom. Kumari Rathnayake.
