The International Movement for Community Development (IMCD) united with music for humanity by organizing the musical extravaganza 'Eka Ahasak Yata'. The musical was held on the 30th of June 2018 from 6.00 pm onward at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo 07.
The International Movement for Community Development (IMCD) united with music for humanity by organizing the musical extravaganza ‘Eka Ahasak Yata’. The musical was held on the 30th of June 2018 from 6.00 pm onward at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo 07.
Eka Ahasak Yata musical presented Daddy the beloved boy band that has been rocking the music industry for decades with their hit songs and La Signore who never fails to bring the zest to the party. The well known and much loved Raini Charuka Goonatillake along with Mihindu Ariyaratne with his latest album Yathrikaya and the upcoming musical sensation Ridma Weerawardena also graced the Eka Ahasak Yata stage which was lighted up for a worthy cause.
The Interlude II of Eka Ahasak Yata was a humanitarian mission to raise funds to provide Reverse Osmois (RO) plants (Water Purification System) for the shelter homes serving for children, adults and vulnerable groups that are situated in Chronic Kidney Disease- prone areas across Anuradhapura District and Polonnaruwa District in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka.
