Derana Green Walk '13 with Miss Earth 2012

The TV Derana Miss Sri Lanka programme in collaboration with the Western Province Environment Ministry organized the Derana Green Walk on July 29th from Independence Square to the BMICH. Miss Earth 2012, Tereza Fajksova was the Chief Guest at the walk while the 12 finalists of the 2013 Derana Miss Sri Lanka pageant also participated. Several politicians, artists, environmentalists and school children participated in the event which raised awareness on environmental issues and promoted its protection.
