High Voltage, the Year’s biggest concert with most renown and mind blowing local and international rock bands is to be witnessed on the 11th of November 2011 at the Vihara Maha Devi Amphitheater. An evening dedicated to untainted rock music featured by promising and upbeat bands including Stigmata, Sacred Legacy, Cry Wolf, and Forsaken.
The proceeds of this remarkable event will be funding the future charity projects of the Rotaract club of ANC, which has in the past year alone carried out many charity events which have benefited society. The most prominent of them were the two “Pulse” health camps, which were held in Ratanapura and Trincomalee and the library donation project in Gampaha. Our future project plans is to also include a renovation of a hospital ward in chilaw and supply of essential medical equipment. For which the Rotaract Club OF ANC with be liaising with the health officials of the ministry of health and the provincial health department. The club has planned to colourwash a selected ward, repair the equipment, donate any necessary equipment and to donate a washing unit to the hospital.
The Rotaract club of ANC
The Rotaract Club of American National College, a club under the family of Rotary Club of Colombo West in the District 3220; is a separate entity run by the student body of the American National College by appointment of its own Board. The decisions are made purely by the Board in keeping with the rules and protocol of the Rotaract and are not influenced by any entity.
The Club has organized many successful projects over the past years including a major career guidance Program at The Cinnamon Lake Side hotel, two Health camps, a student exchange program, a library donation project and many other community service projects.

Sacred Legacy
The Band Sacred Legacy was formed in the early 2006 with Shahyd as the key person of the band. He wanted to bring a change to the Maldivian music scene with his music. So he released his first album on 23rd September 2006 which was “The Sacred Legacy”. He launched the album with a successful show featuring Tormenta and Serenity Dies. Thus was the band’s first performance and Shahyds 1st solo album.
The band has released their 1st album “Apocalypse” on 5th July 2007, on Domination Fest ’07. And also in the same year Sacred Legacy participated in the “Rockstorm Festival: Freak Your Senses”. After So many Successful Shows
Due to their great music and stunning performance in the Maldives breakout fest 2009, the band has signed with an endorsement contract with one of the leading companies in Maldives. Fomax Maldives Pvt. Ltd. In 2010 the band had their greatest success with burn rock concert and breakout festival with has made the band fans base much bigger than before.
As of right now Sacred legacy has signed contracts with STF records in Germany and the band is coming down to sri lanka to Perform in HIGH VOLTAGE.
Stigmata
Suresh De Silva, Andrew Obeysekara and Tennyson Napolean formed the band in 1999 at S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia, where they were schoolmates. They chose the name Stigmata after the 1998 album by Melodic Death Metal band Arch Enemy. The band’s style is generally considered a mix hybrid of Progressive and Thrash metal, along with some Death metal influences.
Stigmata has managed to built a loyal following for themselves around the Asian Metal scene. Ever since they formed, the band have been hard at work, spreading their music, and the feedback they've been getting from fans, local radio stations, and shows has been more then great. Their 2006 studio release "Silent Serpentine Chaos" is placed at number 13 on Metal Forge's list for top 50 reviews of all time
Stigmata has signed up with local label mammoths M Entertainment.
Among the individual band members’ primary influences are a variety of bands from the Progressive, Death and Thrash metal subgenres such as Nevermore, Death, Tool, Iron Maiden, early Metallica, early Sepultura, Lamb of God, Testament, Pantera, Evergrey, Arch Enemy and early In Flames. They are also influenced by musicians such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Billy Sheehan. The lyrical themes of the band are generally from poetry by the bands’ vocalist cum lyricist Suresh, and cover topics such as apathy, child abuse and inner struggle
Crywolf
Crywolf is a heavy metal band that was formed towards the end of 2010 and has gained popularity rapidly in the Metal Industry in Sri Lanka.
The uniqueness of CryWolf is the influence of Power and Thrash Metal styles in their music. While majority of the bands in Sri Lanka are inclined to Death Metal and Black Metal, CryWolf's act stands out with the melodic, high pitched, clean vocal style and Power Metalish musical style which uniquely differentiates the band from the norms of the industry.
The band is currently very popular for covering Iron Maiden tracks and Pantera tracks that have not been covered in its entirety, in their original pitch and feel, for a long time in concerts that have taken place in the country. CryWolf has included The Trooper, Hallowed Be Thy Name, and The Wicker Man by Iron Maiden, Cowboys from Hell and Cemetry Gates by Pantera, so far in their set lists.
The band resently ended up the Runners up of TNL onstage 2011 and released their debut single "The Wind" following their accomplishment.
Forsaken
FORSAKEN is a melodic thrash metal band formed in the hill capitol of sri lanka .the first ever thrash metal from kandy. In a society where people ignore the reality and the dark side of life, forsaken has been able to create some important music for the clever human.
The bands has been influenced by bans such as MEGADETH, METALLICA, ANTHRAX, TESTERMENT, SALYER, DEATH and mostly thrash and speed metal bands.The bands lyrics mostly consist on personal struggles, politics, war, hate and history.The band is now in the process of making some important music and making a fan base for themselves.
