Streets of Colombo are going to be flashed up with an event this city has never seen before. It will be worked off on December 14 and 15 at Colombo Fort areas. Both CSN & Carlton Motor Sports have accepted the challenge to provide a weekend like never before, filled with fast cars and many more surprises.
Consequent to the massive success achieved last year by CSN & Carlton Sports in organising CNR11, work has already commenced on CNR2012. December 14/15th Colombo Fort Areas.
The second edition of Colombo Night Races to be held here in Colombo on 14th and 15th December. The event to be conducted collaboratively by Carlton Motor Sports Club, Asian Motor Racing Club and Sri Lanka Motor Cycle Club. Four Motor Car races will be happening on race night with experienced International racers. Super Car GT3 / GT4, VW Polo cup and Toyota Etios races will race twice during the day since the given categories were identified as super experience for spectators.
VW Polo and Toyota Etios events are newly added categories for the CNR 2nd edition and expects many more foreign races for both events.
However, AMRC official acclaimed that number of racing categories which were on 1st edition taken down from 2nd edition this year to minimize difficulties fro organizers.
