This is a new cutting edge photography course written and directed by some of the best working photographers in their field. The aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge and skills required for a career as a professional photographer or as a keen hobbyist. This is an up-to-date and massively comprehensive course covering every aspect of photography.

About the facilitator:
Ewlyn Fernando is a photographer based in Colombo, with a fresh and contemporary style specialised in fashion photography. Portraiture is Ewlyn's speciality and getting to know people and capturing their character is what he enjoys. Ewlyn started practicing professional photography in 2005 at Dubai, following a qualification in photography at Bradford, UK. Though he is a full time Software Engineer, his passion for the photography didn't reduce, instead opened another door. He started using his IT skills in post processing the RAW images that showed success in a very short time. He also conducts workshops in photography and post processing at Sri Lanka, Dubai and UK. Ewlyn Photography is equipped with the latest in digital camera and lighting technology, which has a growing network of clients and customers, located around the world.

Day 1 (March 23rd)
It helps to understand ISO, Aperture tocontrol depth of field, Shutter speed and capturing motion, and how all of these relate to each other to achieve correct exposure. You will learn all about SLR Shooting Modes , F/Stops , Depth of Field, white balance, exposure compensation, uses of different lenses and hyperfocal distance.

Day 2 (March 24th)
Focused towards advance photography concepts, helps you understand natural and studio lights, the laws, Guide numbers and flash power.
One hour training on Make-up techniques for Fashion Photographers will be facilitated by a celebrity makeup artist Gayani Batz. Following this presentation there will be a Fashion shoot with 2-3 models which all participants will gain hands on experience directing models and understanding poses. At the end of the workshop there will be a shoot for 1-2 hours and 3 photographers for the best photos will be awarded prizes sponsored by Photo Technica.
