The National Launching Ceremony of Leadership Empowerment Development (LED) program organized for empower undergraduates to match the passions and education with corporate sector was held on 7th of June 2016 from 9.00am onwards at University of Kelaniya.
The National Launching Ceremony of the Leadership Empowerment Development (LED) Program was held on the 7th of June 2016 at the University of Kelaniya from 9.00 am onwards.
Launched with the sole purpose of bridging the gap between undergraduate students and the corporate world, LED is an initiative established by the University of Kelaniya and the University of Moratuwa. It focuses on honing its participants on key features and fundamentals necessary in order to succeed in the corporate sector.
Its inception took the form of a youth forum, graced by the University‘s Vice Chancellor as the chief guest. Also in attendance were the deans of faculties, renowned speakers and a panel of veteran personalities representing the corporate sector. Providing the day’s entertainment was none other than the celebrated Sri Lankan musician, Lahiru Perera.
