Vagangana’24, organized by the Sinhala Oratory and Debating Society of Visakha Vidyalaya, continues to be among the topmost debating tournaments in the country. We have forged a platform for the warriors of words to clash over the legendary Jeremias Dias trophy,for the 13th consecutive time, with the participation of 42 schools island wide. Out of the many teams competed at the initial rounds, Sirimavo Bandaranayaka Vidyalaya Colombo and Thurstan College Colombo were able to emerge as finalists. Sirimavo Bandaranayaka Vidyalaya won the championship of the Vagangana 24.
